Thank you for taking a few minutes to get to know me. I look forward to getting to know you, too.

My name is Cheryl C. Jones. I'm a professional speaker, contract trainer and personal coach. That may seem like I wear a lot of hats. That's because I do.

The truth is I've played a number of roles during my 20-year career of supporting and encouraging small and medium size businesses to work well together so that they can profit more easily.


Currently, my work includes:

  • Speaking at conferences and conventions on the topics such as managing stress and strengthening personal resilience and other requested subjects related to personal and business success
  • Training up-and-coming managers and supervisors to become extra-ordinary leaders in their place of business
  • Facilitating management retreats that are personally reflective, team challenging and that transform work-relations and productivity
  • Working with individuals to improve team-work and resolve conflict with co-workers, bosses and within themselves so that they can live with greater joy and happiness

  • Sharing unique stress-reduction techniques that lower anxiety, frustration and anger

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with a variety of businesses across a number of industries. My clients have included a world champion NBA basketball team, convention center, health care clinics and hospitals, law firms, mortuaries, truck-part manufactures, retailers and people just like you. Each one came with a unique goal that they wanted to accomplish and we worked together to helped them achieve their goal.

Because everything that I have been a part of up until this moment has added to my tool-box of skills and knowledge. Each relationship and challenge has provided me with experiences from which you can benefit - knowledge that you can ultimately help you as we begin to solve your issues and problems.

I believe in using unconventional techniques to discover and resolve hurt feelings, personal hold-ups, negative group-thinking-patterns, and limiting beliefs that keep you and your team from achieving your goals.

When we worked together, know that I am committed to your highest and best good. It's not about me at that point. This statement is true whether I am speaking to an audience of 1500 or working side-by-side, one-on-one in a coaching relationship.



A Little History, In Case You Are Interested

I founded Simply The Best in 1990, as a contract training and development agency, after working for 13-years for hotels and restaurants. My intention and expertise at that time was to improve team-work and customer service in hospitality industry through facilitated training programs. The hospitality industry was slow to pick-up on the idea, but that didn't stop several other industries from seeing the value and quickly hiring me.

As more businesses and associations hired me to speak to their groups, I noticed that their needs were changing. What these audiences needed wasn't a "how to smile customer service program."  What they needed was a new perspective on how they thought about and took action on their relationships, goals and businesses. To better meet the new need, I enrolled a variety of continuing education courses to develop knowledge and expertise.

Workshops, Events
