You’ve got to hear this story! It’s a story of miraculous change.

Since September, I have been going to physical therapy for three different issues. Most recently, my visits were for my right knee. According to an MRI, I have some arthritis in my knee along with a few floating bodies – whatever that means. 😉 With physical therapy exercises, I’ve worked to strengthen the muscles in my hips and knees so that I am more stable on my feet. However, the exercises have not resolved the problem of me stumbling when walking or tripping when walking up a flight of stairs.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not critical of my therapist’s work. She has done a great job of strengthening my lower body.  I am stronger and more stable on my feet. However, I still stumbled over small rises in the street, and I continued to trip going when traveling up stairs. What I realized is that I have a fear of falling. That fear was so intense that I would take the elevator or a ramp just to avoid the stairs. And when I walked my dog, I was uber-sensitive to changes in the texture of the asphalt. It sounds a little silly, doesn’t it?

I didn’t choose to share this story with you because I think you might have a fear of falling too. I’m sharing this story because these kinds of small, seemingly insignificant worries keep us from achieving our dreams. They keep us from showing up in life and business as our authentic selves.

For some people, these insignificant worries include topics like:

  • Fear of cold calling, fear of rejection, ridicule, or embarrassment
  • Reluctancy to ask for the sale
  • Fear of failing or fear of succeeding
  • Withholding communication or not asking for what you need
  • Going along with the opinion of the crowd rather than expressing a different belief

Here’s the thing. No one has to have these fears and worries run their lives. But unfortunately, they do. Every one of us fears something. The important question to ask is, what is your fear keeping you from having, doing, or being?

The Results

In my case, my fear of falling kept me from living freely, playfully, and confidently. Looking back, I realize that was a high price to pay, and one I no longer wanted to fund. So I released it. I’ll tell you how in just a minute.

The most amazing experience occurred soon after I cleared my fear of falling. Within less than an hour, I no longer had thoughts of falling. The most incredible part is that falling has not crossed my mind since, except for noticing that I’m not thinking about it. I scamper up and down the stairs these days without holding the handrail—something I haven’t done in many months.

So, are you wondering how I erased my fear of falling? And are you wondering if this could work on other worries and fears?

The answer to the second question is YES! Definitely! This technique works on all kinds of worries, fears, phobias, and stress-inducing situations.

Can you imagine your life if you didn’t have fear? Fears like:

  • Spiders
  • Cold calling
  • Bullies
  • Embarrassment
  • Flying
  • Ocean or lakes
  • Roller coasters
  • Failure
  • Success
  • Public speaking

Imagine yourself doing, having, and being whatever you want with confidence and assuredness. You could do anything if you didn’t have fear. Right?

How I Released My Fear

I use a highly specialized process to access my unconscious mind and redirect the neuro-pathways. The mind tries to be very efficient. You see, it wants to take the shortest path when it processes information. When you think a thought repeatedly, it creates a neuro-pathway in the mind. That pathway becomes the go-to pathway for a topic or behavior. An example of a neuro-pathway is the one you use when you tie your shoes. You don’t have to think about it. Your hands just do it. Right? That is a neuro-pathway in action.

Unfortunately, some neuro-pathways become formed through false information.  Your mind didn’t know that the information was incorrect. It couldn’t filter the incoming data to determine what was true and what was not. It just took it all in. As a result, messages you may have heard in early childhood built a neuro-pathway.

The process I used to release the fear of falling is called The Emotion Code. It requires muscle testing, also known as applied kinesiology, to gain clear, unfiltered information from the mind. Muscle testing allows me to get to the core of the fear or issue – the place where it started. That place is usually rooted in childhood, between 5 and 10 years of age. I’ve been a certified Emotion Code Practioner for the last nine years. The skills of the Emotion Code and the gift of intuition make me a highly skilled practitioner helping people rewire their neuro-pathways. I love helping my clients release the trapped emotions and false beliefs that have them stuck. And I love releasing my stuck patterns too.

In my case, the core issue associated with my fear of falling was attached to an accident and injury at five years of age. As soon as I identified the age, I immediately remembered the event.

It took place as we were leaving the grocery store. I was running excitedly around just outside of the front entrance of the grocery store. I must not have been paying attention to where I was going and clipped the corner of a brick planter box with my shin. I hit so hard that I gouged a chunk of skin and bone from my shin. Ouch!

My excitement was immediately dashed. The wind went out of my sails, leaving me in pain and tears. My excitement was due to an invitation I had received to a friend’s swimming party. Now, there would be no party for me.

The accident wounded me both physically and emotionally. My shin was a mess. In my over-excitement, I got seriously hurt. In addition, this event anchored negative emotions within me and created unsupportive beliefs.

In the moments right after the accident, my brain made some decisions.

  • It’s not safe to be over-excited – if you do, you’ll get hurt
  • Calm your enthusiasm, so you don’t embarrass yourself
  • Not paying attention equals pain
  • Always anticipate danger, so you don’t get hurt
  • Brace your heart for disappointment

That accident facilitated several emotions to get stuck in my body. These same emotions would later cause me to have a fear of falling. The emotions that got stuck were shame, stupidity, embarrassment, sadness, and crying. The physical pain of the event, combined with the emotional pain, anchored itself in my body and was reactivated a few months ago when I had an unexpected fall.

What I find interesting is that while I was in the pattern of the fear of falling, situations where I might fall showed up in my life. But since I cleared the fear, there have been no close calls or incidences. I’m free from the fear of falling. Yay!

Do you have a fear that doesn’t make sense to you?

Is there a fear that keeps getting in your way?

Maybe it’s the fear of success. Or could it be the fear of not getting what you deserve?

Some people hold the fear of making a mistake, while others may fear becoming wildly famous?

What is it for you? What do you fear?

I have enough experience now to believe in the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states that the energy you exude is what will manifest in your life. So, if you are feeling bitterness, you will start to experience situations where bitterness manifests in your life. You will draw to you the thing you spend the most time and energy on.

So, what fear are you ready to release?

I’m very interested in knowing what’s bothering you. I’d like to know because I plan to offer a short course on releasing fear.  Your suggestions will help me make the course relevant to my friends and followers. So, please let me know what you fear. I’ll include as many fears as possible and how to release them.

Thanks for participating.
